NC State Finishes Fifth At ACC Men's Golf Championship

ORLANDO, Fla. - NC State's men's golf finished fifth at the ACC Men's Golf
Championship held at The Magnolia golf course at the Disney World Resort. The Wolfpack carded a 294 in the final round on Sunday for a three-day total of 870. Georgia Tech won the team title with a 19-under-par 845. The ACC is one of the toughest men's golf leagues in the country, with three teams
ranked in the top 10 and five squads in the top 25.
Garth Mulroy paced NC State, finishing ninth with a three-day score of 214. The junior fired a two-under-par 70 in the final round. Senior Chris Mundorf placed in a tie for 12th with a 54-hole total of 216.
Clemson's John Engler won the individual title with a 13-under-par 203. Engler edged Bryce Molder of Georgia Tech who finished two shots back with a 205.
