Wolfpack Netters Bow To Wake Forest, 5-2

The win propels Wake Forest to 13-9 (5-3 ACC) on the season, while the Wolfpack falls to 6-18 overall (1-7 ACC).
NC State started the afternoon in strong fashion by picking up the doubles point. They did so by virtue of their wins at No. 1 by Eric Jackson and Reinaldo Valor (8-3) and at No. 3 by Brad Kilgore and John Davis (9-7).
Top-seeded Jackson also took the victory in his last collegiate duals match, besting Wake Forest's Raul Munoz 6-4, 6-4.
The Wolfpack will now turn its attention to the ACC Championships, with first-round play set to begin on Thursday in Orlando, Florida.
