Baseball Visits VCU

The NC State baseball team will open a two game swing through the state of
Virginia tonight when it meets VCU in Richmond. The Wolfpack, now 18-16 on
the season, is coming off an 11-6 victory over UNC-Greensboro on Saturday.
In that game, red hot outfielder Jamey Shearin collected two doubles to back
the pitching of lefthander Dan D'Amato, who struck out 10 men in route to
recording his fourth win of the season.
Tonight's contest against the Rams can be heard on GOPACK.com starting at 6:55 p.m. There will be no broadcast for tomorrow night's game at Old Dominion.
