State Leads Cleveland Golf/Augusta State Invitational After Two Rounds

AUGUSTA, GA - The NC State men's golf team shot a 563 aftewr two rounds
and are tied with Wake Forest for the lead at the Cleveland Golf/Augusta
State Invitational on Saturday.
After shooting a first round score of 284, the Wolfpack fired a 279 and is ahead of Augusta State by two strokes.
The Wolfpack has four of its five golfer in the top 20 after Saturday's play. David Sanchez and Chris Mundorf have paced the Wolfpack as each are eighth and ninth, respectively, after two rounds. Sanchez fired a 69-70=139 (-5) and Mundorf countered with a 71-69=140 (-4).
Ross Wellington is tied for 14th overall after an impressive 72-70=142 (-2) and Mark Tullo is tied for 18th with a 73-70=143 (-1).
Garth Mulroy rounds out the Pack's top five as he's tied for 34th with a 72-74=146.
The final round will be played on Sunday morning.
