Senior All-ACC honoree Eric Jackson took the victory at #1 singles with a 7-6, 6-2 victory of Tony Mulé. Matt Lucas also won at #2 6-4, 6-3 over Nigel Mitten, while Reinaldo Valor outlasted Marcio Torres in a grueling match 2-6, 6-2, 6-4 at #4. #5 Bryce McGrory won another three-setter for NC State, downing Paul Goode 2-6, 6-2, 6-2. Ryan Boward also defeated Tanner Haddon at #6 7-5, 6-4.
In doubles action, Brad Kilgore and John Davis topped Bo McWhorter and Diego Goya 8-6 at #2.
The Wolfpack plays Campbell at home at 2:00 p.m. at the Wolfpack Tennis Center on Saturday.
