RALEIGH, N.C. -- NC State's Carisse Moody has been tabbed an honorable mention
All-American by the Associated Press. The 6-1 sophomore was forced to
move into the starting center spot when returning starter Kaayla Chones
missed the season due to injury.
Moody, who averaged only 1.9 points and 1.7 rebounds a year ago, led the Wolfpack with averages of 14.7 points and 7.2 rebounds. She also led the ACC in field goal percentage (.520). Moody posted seven double-doubles on the season and was named to the All-ACC second team as well as earning first team ACC All-Tournament accolades.
