NC State Women to Host Delaware in NCAA First Round

RALEIGH, N.C. -- For the first time since 1998, NC State's women's basketball team will host the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament set to begin next weekend. The Wolfpack are seeded fourth in the East Region and will face 13th-seeded Delaware in the first round of the NCAA event. The other first round game which will take place at Reynolds Coliseum in Raleigh features fifth-seeded Villanova versus Drake, the region's twelve seed.
NC State will be making its seventh straight and 16th overall NCAA Tournament appearance. Only seven schools have more postseason appearances than NC State. This is the ninth time the Wolfpack have been a host site for the NCAA Tournament. NC State last hosted in 1998 when the Wolfpack advanced to the school's first NCAA Final Four.
Friday, March 16th Villanova vs. Drake @ 5:00 p.m. NC State vs. Delaware @ 7:30 p.m. Sunday, March 18th 2nd round game -- 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $15.00 for two sessions for adult, $10.00 for students, Individual tickets are $10.00 for adult and $6.00 for students
