NC State Men's Golf Posts Best Spring Finish

The Wolfpack fired a 299-287-285=871 as Georgia Tech captured tourney honors with a 292-279-273=844.
The Pack had three players post top 16 finishes. Junior Garth Mulroy posted a career-best finish as he tied for eighth with a 74-71-69=214. He fired a 69 on Sunday as he rose four spots from Saturday's play.
Senior David Sanchez tied for 13th overall as he fired a 69 on Sunday to finish with a 216. Senior Chris Mundorf was tied for 16th overall as he fired a 76-69-72=217. Senior Mark Tullo fired a 74-75-79=228 to tie for 53rd place, while Ross Wellington rounded out play with a 56th place finish overall by shooting a 79-75-75=229.
NC State returns to action on March 24-25 at the Chris Schenkel Invitational in Statesboro, Ga.
