Wolfpack Women Cruise Past Wake Forest, 69-35

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) (Feb. 8, 2001) -- Carisse Moody's 20 points and 10 rebounds paced hot-shooting No. 24 North Carolina State in a 69-35 win over Wake Forest Thursday.
The Wolfpack shot 53 percent in the first half and 47.6 percent for the game. Wake Forest shot just 20.6 percent from the field, including just 2 of 12 shots from 3-point range.
N.C. State (15-8, 6-6 Atlantic Coast Conference) gave the Demon Deacons (11-12, 3-9) few second-chance points and held a 50-42 rebounding edge.
LaChina Robinson's 7 points off the bench led Wake Forest.
