NC State Women Sweep Weekly ACC Honors

Lewis, a senior guard for the Wolfpack, earns ACC Player of the Week recognition after leading NC State to league victories over Georgia Tech and No. 4 Duke. For the week, the Macclesfield, N.C., native averaged 16.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game.
On the road against Georgia Tech, Lewis finished with 14 points, seven rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocked shots. The co-captain followed that performance with a team-high 19 points, including 17 in the second half, to lead the Pack to a 69-55 win over No. 4 Duke. NC State is currently 6-0 since Lewis has taken over the point guard slot.
Rookie of the Week honors are claimed by NC State freshman Adeola Olanrewaju who had the best game of her career against Duke with 16 points and 10 rebounds for the first double-double of her career. Earlier in the week, the 6-2 forward from Brooklyn, N.Y., contributed six points and five rebounds in 17 minutes of action at Georgia Tech.
