Men's Tennis Drops Heartbreaker To #51 Arizona, 4-3

The deciding match came at the No. 5 position in singles, where Arizona's Jari Niskala and NC State's Bryce McGrory were knotted a 3-all in the third set before Niskala finally pulled away to win the set and the match, 6-4.
Also registering singles wins for the Wolfpack were freshman Reinaldo Valor at No. 4 (6-0, 6-4 over Whi Kim) and Ryan Boward at No. 6 (6-4, 6-2 over Roeland Brateanu).
NC State captured the doubles point to begin the match by claiming wins in the No. 1 match where Eric Jackson and Valor won 8-2 over Steven Capriati and Carl Hagman and in No. 3 where Matt Lucas and Boward were victorious 9-8 (7-5 tiebreaker) over Brateanu and Arnaud Agniel.
The Wolfpack will look to get into the win column when they take on Rice Sunday afternoon at 11:00 a.m. in Houston.
