NC State Ranked 10th In AP Women's Poll

NC State, which returns three starters from a team that went 22-11 last season, is ranked 10th in the Associated Press' women's preseason college basketball poll, which was released on Tuesday.
The Wolfpack women are among three ACC teams in the poll, with preseason league favorite Duke ranked fifth and Maryland 23rd.
NC State will open its season against Radford on Friday night, November 16 at Reynolds Coliseum. On Monday, Kaayla Chones had 27 points and 17 rebounds as the Pack downed the Perik Jumpers in an exhibition game, 104-63.
