Davis Takes Flight D Title At Wolfpack Fall Classic

Raleigh, N.C.-Sophomore John Davis won the Flight "D" championship of the singles competition at the Wolfpack Fall Classic on Sunday.
Davis defeated Mike Leffke of UNC Asheville 6-3, 6-3 to take the victory. In four matches during the event, Davis dropped only one set. Also in the draw, Jagjeet Sandhu bested Richard Hauchman of Appalachian State 6-4, 6-1 to take fifth-place. On the backside of the draw, Brian Rosenthal defeated Rachid Lamrissi 6-4, 6-2 to claim ninth place. Rosenthal dropped only ten games after the first round of action on his way to victory.
In doubles, the tandem of Ryan Boward and Matt Lucas defeated Jonathan McGovern and Marlo Santoro of Charlotte 8-5 to claim the Flight "A" doubles title.
