Wolfpack Netters Get Wins In Wolfpack Fall Classic

Raleigh, N.C.-Several NC State men's tennis players picked up wins Saturday during the second day of competition at the Wolfpack Fall Classic.
Leading the way for the Wolfpack was John Davis, who advanced to the Singles "Flight D" Finals by defeating Derrick Boone of Appalachian State 6-2, 6-2. Davis will face Mike Leffke of UNC Asheville Sunday at 10:00 a.m. for the title.
The Wolfpack is also well represented in the Doubles "Flight A" Finals with Ryan Boward and Matt Lucas set to play Jonathan McGovern and Marlo Santoso for the title. Boward and Lucas got there by defeating Bartlo Oosthuizen and Daniel Vajdic of Radford 9-8 (5) in the quarterfinals and Julien Crevelier and Charl Meyer of East Carolina 9-7 in the semifinals.
Shane Sealy will also be in singles action tomorrow in the third place match for "Flight C" against Brian Murphy of Wake Forest, as is Bryce McGrory who is set for a 8:00 a.m. match against Joel Moylan of Liberty to decide ninth place.
Brian Rosenthal is also in action tomorrow after defeating Greg Chambers of Maryland 6-1, 6-1. Rosenthal will face Rachid Lamrissi of Radford at 8:00 a.m. for ninth place in "Flight D".
Sunday is the final day of competition in the tournament, which is being held at the Wolfpack Tennis Center. The courts are located just off of Sullivan Drive on campus and admission is free.
