Wolfpack Netters Advance At Wolfpack Fall Classic

Raleigh, N.C.--Five Wolfpack men's tennis players advanced to the third round of play in the Wolfpack Fall Classic Friday afternoon at the Wolfpack Tennis Center.
Matt Lucas led things off for the Wolfpack in Flight A with straight set victories over McGovern of Charlotte (7-5, 6-4) and Chari Meyer of East Carolina (6-3, 7-6 (5)).
In Flight B, Ryan Boward also posted two victories on the afternoon with wins over Jokim Mrhammar of Radford (6-1, 6-0) and Andrei Cotuna (6-4, 6-1) of Liberty. Michael Carducci also advanced to third round of action with victories over Luiz Rino of Liberty (6-3, 6-4) and Brad Sullivan of East Carolina (3-6, 7-6 (6), 6-2).
Shane Sealy is in Flight C's third round after posting consecutive victories over Daniel Vajdic of Radford (6-1, 6-2) and Ernesto Malagrino of Liberty (2-6, 6-2, 6-2)
John Davis is the Wolfpack's representative in Flight D's third round after defeating Kenan Bell of Liberty (6-2, 1-0 ret.) and Brian Cochran of East Carolina (6-1, 2-6, 6-0).
The Wolfpack Tennis Center is located just off of Sullivan Drive on the NC State campus. Play will continue all day Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free.
