Red & White Basketball Game Set For Oct. 28

Like baseball hall of famer Ernie Banks used to say, "let's play two." NC State fans will indeed get two games for the price of one on Oct. 28 when The Red & White basketball game precedes NC State's home football game against Florida State.

The Red & White game, which tips off at 3:00 p.m. at the beautiful Entertainment and Sports Arena, will give fans a chance to get an early look at coach Herb Sendek's 2000-2001 basketball team. This year's squad returns four starters from a team that won 20-games last season.

The event will also include appearances by some of the greatest players in NC State history, including former national player of the year David Thompson. Special prizes will also be given away during the afternoon.

Admission to the Red & White game is free.
