Wolfpack Finish Fourth in Tennessee Tournament

Knoxville , TN (Sept. 19) - NC State fired a final round even par 288 for a three-round total of 840 to finish in fourth place at the Coca-Cola Tournament of Champions in Knoxville, TN. LSU finished the 54-hole event with a 13-under 851 to win the team title.
David Sanchez once again led the Wolfpack, shooting a two-under 70 for a three round total of five-under 211 to finish in a tie for third place. It is the Charlotte native's career best finish. Chris Mundorf and John Carter also posted top-20 finishes for the Pack. Mundorf stood at two-under after the final round to tie for 11th while Carter was one-over for the tournament to finish in a tie for 19th.
LSU's Alan Morgan won the individual title with a seven-under 209.
NC State's next event will be Oct. 6-8 at the Carpet Capital Collegiate Invitational in Dalton, Ga.
