NC State Golfer wins Cardinal Am

Chris Mundorf of Greensboro shot a one-over-par 71 in the final round of the Cardinal Amateur to win the tournament at the Cardinal Country Club by four strokes. Mundorf, a rising senior at NC State, took control of the lead with a tournament best six-under par 64 in the second round.

Mundorf, a Wolfpack co-captain, finished the three-day tournament with a six-under 204. Three players were tied for second at 208, four shots off the lead.
