Just one week removed from her first career appearance in the WNBA All-Star game, Andrea Stinson again showed on Monday night why she has become one of the league's best guards.
The former NC State star scored 21 of her game-high 24 points in the second half and in overtime as the Charlotte Sting edged Indiana 82-78.
Stinson hit 7-of-15 shots from the field, including the three-pointer with 4.9 seconds remaining that sent the game into overtime. Another former Wolfpack player, center Rhonda Mapp, added eight points for the Sting.
Charlotte (6-18) has now won three of its last four games.
