Stinson, East Fall to West in WNBA All-Star Game

PHOENIX (July 17, 2000) -- Tina Thompson of the Houston Comets had 13 points and a
record 11 rebounds to garner MVP honors, and LA's Lisa Leslie added 16
points as the Western Conference beat the East 73-61 on July 17th in the
WNBA All-Star game.
Charlotte guard Andrea Stinson, a former NC State star, tallied three points in her all-star debut for the Eastern Conference. All of Stinson's points came on a three-point play that gave the East a 26-21 lead with 7:06 remaining in the first half.
Overall, Stinson was 1-of-6 from the floor with two rebounds, two assists and a steal in 12-minutes of action.
