The WNBA's Charlotte Sting (2-8) is off to a slow start this season. But
imagine where they would be without Andrea Stinson. The former NC State
basketball star continued her fine play Tuesday, scoring 25 points and
dishing out five assists in the Sting's 87-85 overtime win at Portland.
Stinson, who hit 10-of-21 shots from the field on Tuesday, is averaging 18-points per game to rank sixth in the league in scoring.
Former Pack standouts Rhonda Mapp and Summer Erb also contributed to Charlotte's second win of the season. Mapp scored eight points and grabbed four rebounds while Erb tallied five points in 19 minutes of playing time.
