Dugan Takes 8th In 3,000m Steeplechase Finals

Durham, N.C. (June 2) - Junior Chris Dugan placed eighth in the finals of the 3,000m steeplechase June 2 at the 2000 Outdoor NCAA Championships. Dugan, who placed third in the preliminary round, finished with a time of 8:45.56, his second-best of the 2000 season.
Running for NC State tomorrow will be senior Brendan Rodgers. Rodgers will be running in the finals of the 1,500 meters, an event he finished 8th (3:44.96) in the preliminary round Thursday night. The finals of the 1,500 meters are set to begin at 7:45 p.m.
