Men's Basketball Among Nation's Leaders In Attendance

RALEIGH, NC (May 25) - NC State ranked seventh in the nation in average home attendance for men's basketball this season, averaging 16,535 fans per game according to statistics released by the NCAA.
Following the opening of the 19,722-seat Entertainment and Sports Arena this year, NC State led the nation in average increased attendance from the 1999 season with 5,735 more fans per game.
NC State drew a total of 330,709 fans in 20 home game this season. The average attendance for home ACC contests was 19,027. NC State averaged 10,800 fans per game in 19 home games in 1999, the final season in Reynolds Coliseum. The Pack drew a total of 205,201 fans last season.
