Brian Stevens asks What are the factors that made you a successful quarterback?
---
The time that I put in working hard each day, improving myself. Also, the players that I played with over the years helped me grow into a better player.
Ed Stowe asks What are the biggest adjustments you have to make in preparing for the CFL?
There are only three downs, compared to four in the U.S. The field is bigger, there are 12 players. In general, I have to adjust to the different rules.
Kelly Edmundson asks What will you miss most about your years at NC State?
Probably the friends I gained while I was at NC State.
Steve Jennings asks I was wondering if you had any advice that you would give your heir apparant since I am sure you remember how it was when you were thrust into the starting job as a freshman.
I would tell him that mistakes are going to happen. Understand what went wrong, correct the mistake and continue to work hard in practice to get better.
Mack Johnson asks Did you get any offers to try out for an NFL team?
No, I did not.
Jon Durham asks What do you think, so far of the new football coaching staff at NCSU?
I think they are a great coaching staff and seem to work well together. It seems that have brought a positive atmosphere to the team.
L. Chestnutt asks Did NFL Europe interest you at all?
It did, but I felt the Canadian league would be a better fit for me at this time.
Keith Hamby asks Do you think the CFL will be a springboard for a NFL career, and if so would you be willing or ready to play a position other than quarterback.
If the coaches want me to switch positions, then I'll deal with it then. I wouldn't mind moving, but I would like to give quarterback a try first.
Fred Clarke asks Jamie, you've had an outstanding career at NCSU. As you begin to reflect on your career here in Raleigh, what was your most memorable game?
Probably the game at Syracuse in 1997 when we won in overtime.
Travis Ross asks How do you feel about going to the CFL and how long do you think it will be until you start.
I'm willing to go anywhere to play football. The CFL is a great place for a quarterback, the field is wider and you throw a lot. I'm looking forward to that.
luke mccann asks how much of a differnce did you parents make when you were playing football and went through all the ups and downs?
They made a big difference. They kept my head level and made me focus, which helped in getting me through the tough times.
luke mccann asks hey jamie what do you think your chances are of making it to the NFL and having a long and sucessful career?
It's a possibility in the future, I have to play well in the CFL first and then who knows.
