Wolfpack Ties for Second at Cleveland Golf Invitational

Augusta, GA (April 2) -- NC State men's golf team shot a final round 288 to finish in a tie for second place with a
three-round total of 857 in the Cleveland Golf/ASU Invitational in Augusta, Ga. The Wolfpack tied with
Duke and Texas. Host Augusta State, ranked 11th in the nation, won the 19-team event with a three-round
score of 854. NC State has finished in the top five in every tournament this spring.
Senior Carl Petterrson led #20 NC State with a three-round total of 213 which placed him a tie for ninth place. Chris Mundorf and Marc Turnesa each shot 215 to tie for 16th.
The Wolfpack's next event is in two weeks in the invitational it co-hosts with North Carolina. The tournament will take place on April 14-15 at MacGregor Downs Country Club in Cary.
