NC State Falls To Maryland In Womens Tennis

Maryland began the match having to default three of its nine matches. Those defaults came at No. 5 and No. 6 singles and at No. 3 doubles. The only other point NC State was able to earn was at No. 1 doubles. The Packs Myrna Bawono and Brie Glover were down 3-4 when Maryland's Delila Causevic and Jessica Johnson were forced to default, giving NC State the win.
This match rounded out the regular season for the Wolfpack. Next up for the Pack is the ACC Tournament in Atlanta, Ga. NC State will be the ninth seed and will play the eighth seed for the play-in match. Play begins April 20th and will continue through the 23rd.
