NC State-Duke Baseball Game Suspended By Rain

RALEIGH, N.C. (April 14, 2000) -- Friday's Atlantic Coast Conference baseball game between NC State and Duke was suspended in the top of the eighth inning because of rain. NC State held an 8-2 lead in the game, the first of a three-game ACC series.
The game will be resumed on Saturday from the point at which it was suspended and will be played to its conclusion. NC State and Duke will play a regularly scheduled game at 1 p.m., and the suspended game will be resumed following the regularly scheduled game.
