Wolfpack Finished Third at Schenkel Golf Invitational

Statesboro, GA - NC State's men's golf team shot a final round 293 for a three day total of 12-under par
852 to finish in third place in the prestigious Chris Schenkel E-Z-GO Invitational held at Forest Heights
Country Club in Statesboro, Ga. Defending national champion Georgia won the event with an impressive
three round total of 829 which set the tournament record. The Wolfpack have finished in the top five in all
four of its spring tournaments.
Senior Carl Pettersson led the way for NC State, firing a final round 71 to finish in a tie for fifth place with a six-under 210 for the tournament. Mark Tullo and Chris Mundorf placed in ties for 16th and 18th with 213 and 215 respectively. The individual title was captured by Georgia's Bubba Watson who fired a three-round total of 13-under 203.
NC State's will compete again next weekend at the Cleveland Golf/ASU Invitational in Augusta, Ga.
