Wolfpack Second at Schenkel EZGO Invitational

Statesboro, GA (March 25) - NC State and Georgia both broke the 18-hole tournament round with an 18-under par 270, but the Bulldogs have a commanding 15-shot lead after the first two rounds of the Chris Schenkel EZGO Invitational in Statesboro. Georgia completed 36 holes of competition with a 32-under par 544. The Wolfpack stand in second place at 17-under 559.
NC State has three individuals tied for eighth place with a two-round total of five-under par 139. Carl Pettersson, Mark Tullo and Chris Mundorf all shot an even par 72 in the first round before firing 67s in the afternoon round. Marc Turnesa shot a two-under 142 to stand in a tie for 18th. Georgia*s Bubba Watson fired an 11-under par 133 to stand atop the leaderboard.
The 15-field event will play the final round on March 26.
