NC State Men's Tennis Knocks off Furman, 5-2

After winning two of three matches to claim the doubles point, the Paladins were only able to claim a victory in one singles match as James Cameron downed Devang Desai 6-1, 6-4 at No. 2 singles. Eric Jackson led the way for the Wolfpack with a 7-5, 6-1 victory over Lee Nickell at No. 1 singles.
Furman falls to 10-7 with the loss, while the Pack improves to 5-5 win the win.
Up next for the Pack is a match versus No. 65 Old Dominion in the opening round of the Blue Gray National Tennis Classic on Thursday. The match, which will be held in Montgomery, Ala., is set to begin at 1:30 p.m. The winner of that match will face No. 17 Fresno State on Friday.
