Erb Named ACC Player Of The Week

Summer Erb earns her third ACC Player of the Week recognition after leading the Wolfpack to wins over Wake Forest and North Carolina before fracturing her second, third and fourth metatarsals in her left foot.

For the week,Erb led NC State, averaging 25.0 points per game and 11.5 rebounds per game. The Lakewood, Ohio native hit 73 percent from the floor (22 for 30). She recorded her fifth double-double of the season in the 86-76 win over North Carolina with 25 points and 16 rebounds.

The 6-6 senior center is NC State's leading scorer (15.8) and rebounder (8.4). She leads the team in free throw percentage (77.0) and blocked shots (1.0). Erb is expected to miss six weeks due to the broken foot and should return in time for the NCAA Tournament.
