Wolfpack Moves Up to Second in San Juan Shoot Out

SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO -- NC State fired a four-under-par 284 in the
second round of the San Juan Shoot Out to move into second place on the
leaderboard. The Wolfpack have a two-day total of 570 at the par 72 Rio
Mar Country Club. NC State trails leader Georgia Tech by four shots
heading into the final round of competition on Tuesday.
Senior Carl Pettersson rebounded from an 80 on the first day of the tournament to fire a 68 today to lead the Pack. He is currently in a tie for 43rd at four-over-par 148. Chris Mundorf shot a 71 to move into a tie for 11th place. Georgia Tech's Bryce Molder leads the individual race with a two-day total of 137.
The 54-hole event will conclude on Tuesday morning.
