Pack Wraps Up Action At Florida

Gainsville, Fla. (Feb. 27) - The No. 12 NC State gymnastics team placed fourth at the Gatorade Conference Showcase held at the University of Florida with its third highest score of the season, 194.250. The meet featured four Top-25 squads, as host No. 19 Florida placed first with a 195.400, followed by No. 6 LSU (195.075) and No. 11 Iowa State (194.400).
Junior Amy Langendorf placed fourth (38.775) in the all-around, while fellow junior Kara Charles, who was named Co-EAGL gymnast of the week this past week, finished fifth (38.625). Charles' highest finish was eighth on beam with a 9.75.
Other top results saw Kelli Brown finished in a tie for fourth on the vault with a 9.8, and senior Maggie Haney posted a 9.825 on floor to finish in eighth place.
NC State will return to action March 4 as it travels to conference rival No. 21 New Hampshire.
