Georgia State Defeats NC State in Men's Tennis

Highlights for the Pack included Devang Desai's 7-5, 7-5 victory over Carl Lumsdan and a narrow loss by NC State's Eric Jackson to Nicolas Brochu, 6-7, 6-2, 6-4. In the Jackson vs. Brochu match, Jackson led 4-1 in the deciding third set but was unable to hold on as Brochu secured victory by taking the final five games of the set. The doubles team of Deasi/Jackson also performed well as they won at No. 1 doubles, 9-8.
NC State will be in action tomorrow as they host Brown. That match, which has been moved to the Chapel Hill Racquet Club due to the threat of poor weather, will start at 2:00 pm.
