Michigan Sweeps NC State In Women's Tennis

RALEIGH, N.C. (Feb. 11) - The Michigan Wolverines swept NC State 9-0 in women's tennis action at the Raleigh Racquet Club. The Pack were playing without Marissa and Katrina Gildemeister who usually play at No. 1 and No. 5 singles, respectively and also team together at No. 1 doubles.

Michigan swept all six of the singles matches in straight sets, with Brooke Hart leading the way at No. 1 singles with a win over Francie Barragan. Hart teamed with Danielle Lund to defeat Brie Glover and Myrna Bawono at No. 1 doubles.

The Pack returns to action on the 23rd of this month when they play host to UNC Greensboro.
