NC State Baseball Home Opener Snowed Out

RALEIGH, N.C. (February 1, 2000) -- The NC State baseball team's season-opening game, scheduled for Saturday, February 5 vs. Elon at Doak Field, has been canceled. As of Tuesday, February 1, snow still covered the playing field at the Doak, virtually ensuring that the field will not be playable by Saturday. The game will be made up at a future date to be determined.

In another scheduling note, the Wolfpack's February 20 game vs. Rutgers at Doak Field has been changed from a 1:30 p.m. first pitch to a 12:30 p.m. start to accomodate the Scarlet Knights' travel plans.
