Wolfpack Women Ranked in Preseason Polls

RALEIGH, NC (Nov. 7, 2000) -- NC State's women's basketball team is ranked in the top-20 in both the Associated Press and ESPN/USA Today Coaches preseason polls released today (Nov. 7). The Wolfpack Women are 18th in the coaches poll and ranked 19th by the AP.
NC State returns four starters from last year's squad that finished the year with a 20-9 record. A year ago, the Wolfpack opened the season ranked 20th in the AP poll and climbed to third in the country.
The Pack have been ranked in the top 20 by eight different preseason publications and polls.
