Wolfpack Women To Host AIA

The women's basketball team will kick off the 2000-01 season on Nov. 6 with an exhibition game against Athletes in Action.
The Wolfpack Women return four starters from last year's team that finished the year with a 20-9 record and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the sixth straight year. Coach Kay Yow, recently inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame, heads into the 2000-01 season only 11 wins shy of her 600th career victory.
Athletes in Action is a talented team composed of former collegiate and professional stars. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. in Reynolds Coliseum.
