Pack Concludes 2000 ITA Southeast Regional

WINSTON SALEM, N.C. (Nov. 4, 2000) -- NC State freshman Kristin Lam was defeated 6-2, 3-6, 6-4 by Sara Whitten of Kentucky Friday morning in main draw singles action at the 2000 ITA Southeast Regional Championships hosted by Wake Forest University.

Lam was slated to team with Myrna Bawano in doubles play that afternoon against Mami Inoue and Paty Vega of East Tennessee State but due to a knee injury suffered by Lam in the third set of her singles match the duo was forced to withdraw.

This concludes play for the Wolfpack at the ITA Southeast Regional. Action is scheduled through the weekend with the finals being on Monday, November 6.
