Fisher and Robinson Earn All-America Accolades

Fisher, who was named to the Football Writer Association of America first-team on Tuesday, was also selected by the Football News as a first-team performer, while Robinson earned second-team accolades.
Fisher, who is a finalist for the Bronco Nagurski Trophy, has enjoyed one of the best seasons for a Wolfpack linebacker in school history. Fisher, who has recorded 149 tackles, leads the nation in tackles per game with a 14.9 average. His 149 tackles are eigth most in school history and the most by a linebacker since Damien Covington recorded 149 stops in 1992. Fisher also leads the team with 15 tackles for loss, seven passes defensed and four caused fumbles.
A native of Beaufort, N.C., Fisher has recorded three of the school's Top 10 single-game tackle totals in school history. He recorded 21 tackles against Maryland, 20 against Florida State and 19 versus Clemson.
Robinson was selected as a semifinalist for the Biletnikoff Award, leads the Wolfpack in receiving with 60 catches for 1,046 yards. He is only the second wide receiver tyo go over 1,000 yards in a season. Torry Holt did it twice in 1997 and 1998. Robinson also has 12 touchdown receptions. Last weekend at Virginia, Robinson recorded his eighth 100-yard game and the 14th of his career, which tied school records.
