Clark Earns PGA Tour Card

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Former NC State golfer Tim Clark earned his PGA Tour Card after earning
a ninth-place finish at the Buy.Com Tour last weekend in Dothan, Ala.
Clark finished in a tie for ninth-place with as he fired a 283, including rounds of 68 and 67. He shot a 67 on Sunday to assure as spot on the tour.
During his tenure at NC State, Clark earned three top 10 finishes at the NCAA Tournament, including a tie for fifth-place in 1996. Clark was also tied for 7th in 1998 and tied for 10th in 1997. He still holds the school record for career stroke average at 71.9 and the top season average of 71.1 in 1998.
