Rosenthal, Sealy Advance in South Carolina Fall Invite

Columbia, SC (Oct. 20) - Sophomore Brian Rosenthal and junior Shane Sealy captured wins on Oct. 20 to advance in the South Carolina Fall Invitational held at the Sam Daniel Tennis Center.
Rosenthal, winner of Flight C in last weekend's NC State Fall Invitational defeated David Nelson of South Carolina in the second round 6-1, 6-3. Rosenthal will now face an undetermined opponent at 10 a.m. on Oct. 21 in third round action.
Sealy, who took second overall in Flight C last weekend, topped Niki Doll of the University of Richmond 6-3, 6-4 to advance to the third round where he is scheduled for a match at 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 21. Both Rosenthal and Sealy received first-round byes in the tournament.
"They played very well for us today," said NC State head coach Eric Hayes. "At this point in the fall, the guys are becoming much more match-tough and it definitely has showed thus far today. Both guys really came through with some clutch performances."
The South Carolina Fall Invitational will run through Oct. 22.
