Eric Jackson Advances to Second Round of ACC Indoors

WINSTON SALEM, NC (January 22) -- NC State's Eric Jackson, a junior from Stone Mountain, Ga., has advanced to the second round of the ACC Indoor Championships, in singles play. Jackson defeated Tim Bibby of Georgia Tech, 6-2, 6-3 and Mark Grae of Wake Forest, 6-3, 6-1. Tomorrow at 10:00 am he will meet Yorke Allen of Duke.
Jackson was the only NC State netter to sport an unblemished record following the first day of competition. Action will resume in Winston-Salem, N.C. tomorrow.
