NC State Drops Three Spots in Women's Poll

RALEIGH, N.C. - (Jan. 17) NC State, which suffered its first defeat of the season at Clemson last week, has fallen from 3rd to 6th in this week's new Associated Press Women's College Basketball Poll. The 14-1 Wolfpack will try to bounce back when it entertains Virginia on Monday night.
Ninth-ranked Duke is the only other ACC team to appear in this week's poll.
North Carolina saw its streak of 64 straight appearances in the top 25 come to an end. The Tar Heels have dropped five straight games.
