Gymnastics: Langendorf Leads Wolfpack to Win in Season Opener

Junior Amy Langendorf helped to lead the Wolfpack by winning the all-around with a 38.875. Langendorf took first on floor and the bars both with a score of 7.775, and also placed second on the beam with a 9.725.
Several other Wolfpack gymnasts had solid outings. Senior Maggie Haney won the beam with a 9.75, and finished fourth on floor. Sophomore Kelli Brown and freshman Adina Stock tied for first on the vault, both earning a 9.7. Brown also took third on the floor. Senior Jenny Sommer placed second on floor with a 9.75, and junior Monica Berry was third on beam with a 9.625. Sophomore Aimee Panton returned to action after missing last season due to injury, and finished third on bars with a 9.7.
NC State's next meet is Saturday, Jan. 21, when the Pack travel to Bermuda to face No. 6 Nebraska.
