Women's Tennis Players Advance to Finals in Wolfpack Invitational

In Flight B, UVA's Henriette Williams will face teammate Leslie Cook in the championship match. Cook defeated NC State's Brie Glover, 6-3, 6-3, while Williams downed the Pack's Loni Worsley, 6-4, 7-6(5) in the other semifinal. Wolfpack sophomore Kristen Nicholls will face Virginia's Jen Tuchband in the C flight final tomorrow. Nicholls defeated Jovana Krsikapa of Georgia State, 6-3, 6-2, in the semifinal. The final of the D flight will pit NC State's Katrina Gildemeister against UVA's Christine Kim.
In doubles action, NC State's Marissa and Katrina Gildemeister advanced to the A flight semifinal, while Barragan and Myrna Bawano are in the B flight semis.
The Wolfpack Invitational concludes tomorrow with play beginning at 8:00 a.m.
