Ex-Soccer Star Selected to Play for US Squad

RALEIGH, N.C. - (Dec. 27) Former NC State soccer standout Thori Bryan will continue a long and distinguished international career when she joins the 18-member United States squad for next month's Australia Cup in Melbourne and Adelaide.

Bryan, who has played in two World Cups, will be making her 14th appearance in international competition.

The team will face the Czech Republic on January 7, Sweden on January 10 and Australia on Jan. 13.

The tournament will feature a total of four teams and six games.
