Erb Named ACC Player of the Week

Greensboro, NC - NC State's Summer Erb was named the Atlantic Coast Conference women's basketball Player of the Week after leading the Wolfpack (9-0) to a 80-60 win over Miami in the Orange Bowl Fab Four. In only 27 minutes of action, the 6-6 center scored 28 points by hitting 10 of 15 field goals and all eight free throw attempts. She also added eight rebounds, two steals and an assist. Erb, the 1999 ACC Player of the Year, enters Tuesday's game against New Hampshire 15 points shy of 1,000 for her NC State career.
