Asad Named to Men's Soccer All-ACC First Team

Raleigh, N.C. - NC State men's soccer player Shaker Asad was named to the All-
ACC first team at the conference's annual banquet this past week. Asad is a junior midfielder from Raleigh, N.C., and was named to the All-ACC second team last season.
This season, Asad helped NC State to a 7-7-3 record, a dramatic increase from last year's mark of 5-13. Asad led the Wolfpack this year in goals (6), assists (7), points (19), and shots taken (47). He started 16 of the 17 games this season, missing only one due to an injury.
