RALEIGH – Having just defeated two consecutive Atlantic Coast Conference opponents receiving votes in the two major national polls, the NC State women's basketball team (14-5, 3-3 ACC) travels to take on a confident UNC-Chapel Hill squad that is a winner of three straight league games. Tip-off between the Wolfpack and Tar Heels is set for 4 p.m. on Thursday afternoon inside Carmichael Arena with live video coverage provided by ACC Network Extra.

Chelsea Nelson's rebounding presence during the last three games has been immense. The senior tied a career high with 15 rebounds at No. 17 Duke on Jan. 7, pulled down 14 in the Jan. 10 win over Georgia Tech, and collected 12 in the Jan. 14 win over Syracuse. She is averaging 11.3 rebounds per game in ACC play.

The Wolfpack's Jan. 14 win over Syracuse was head coach Wes Moore's 100th at NC State. Having accomplished this feat in just 148 games, he is the third quickest active ACC head coach to achieve 100 wins at his school. (Joanne McCallie - 122 and Jeff Walz - 147).

350 WINS FOR THE WOLFPACK
The Wolfpack's Jan. 14 win over Syracuse was the program's 350th Atlantic Coast Conference victory. NC State is just the fourth program to enter this elite club, joining Duke, Virginia, and North Carolina.

Presently in the fifth season under head coach Wes Moore, the Wolfpack has earned 28 true road wins since the start of the 2013-14 season. In the prior eight seasons from 2005-06 to 2012-13, the Wolfpack earned 32 true road wins.

AT OR BELOW 50
NC State has held six of its 19 opponents at or below 50 points this season. In the Jan. 10 win over Georgia Tech, the Wolfpack held the Yellow Jackets to just 43 points, which was 26 points fewer than their season average coming into the game.
